Mirrors of the Christian Life
10 Part Series Titled, “MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE”
PART 1: MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – GOD’S DECALS
Apostle Paul said “the life which I now live in the flesh”. When Christ saved us, He did not move us into some spiritual world where our presence is not seen by natural man, but right opposite. (John 17:15) Jesus prays that God would not take His disciples out of the world but would keep them from evil while they were in the world.
PART 2: MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – TURN ON THE LIGHTS
Too many people love sin so much they’d rather swallow their sins and wallow in darkness, than to turn on the light of Christ.
PART 3: MIRRORS IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – LIVING IN THE MOMENT
I fear that too many of us live our spiritual lives in dial-up mode so we miss alot of what God wants to do in the world and our lives. We log on to God once a day when we have our quiet time, we read our bibles, or go to church once a week, we pray and connect with God and then shut down.
PART 4: MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – THE POTTER’S HANDS
The scripture is quite clear: God is the master potter and we are His clay whom he forms and reforms us to His glory
PART 5: MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – TONGUE-TIED
Dr. Wilbur Smith, a christian book writer who trained many christian workers, made a very heartbreaking statement in his book titled “Before I Forget” that all of us could probably make.” I should through the years have been more faithful in witnessing for Christ to many of those whose friendship I have enjoyed.
PART 6: MIRRORS OF THE CHIRISTIAN LIFE – PASS THE SALT
Understanding that lets us understand this: The Gospel is not something that we only come to church to hear; it is something we go from church to tell.
PART 7: MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – A FAITH THAT WORKS
As Christians we need balanced teaching and doctrine. The N.T. talks a great deal about the balance between faith and works.
PART 8: MIRRORS OFTHE CHRISTIAN LIFE – PINS AND NEEDLES
Her promises scattered all around her on the floor. Suddenly she realized that it wasn’t just one promise that was available to her, but all God’s promises were for her.
PART 9: MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – THE RIPPLE EFFECT
*The smallest act or incident can set off a ripple effect far beyond expectations.
*The scriptures are filled with examples of ripple effects that helped spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ thru out the world.
(Question: What kind of riffle and waves am I setting into motion by my words and works for Christ?)
PART 10: MIRRORS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE – GREATER WORKS THAN THESE
*After World War II, Berlin, the capitol of Germany and headquarters of Adolf Hitler’s 3rd Reich, was overseen by the four nations that had united to defeat Hitler: America, Britain, France and the former Soviet Union. Sadly the history of Germany has not been good. Two sections were created: East Berlin and West Berlin.
